Waterproof Clothing

For the great outdoors and the great British weather, good quality womens waterproof clothing and mens waterproof clothing is required at all times.  CCW carefully select all our guaranteed waterproof styles & fabrics to ensure customer satisfaction, not least keeping dry on all occasions.

Firstly, it is importantly to identify what type of waterproof clothing will best suit the purpose/activity it is intended for.  For example, a heavy snowsport insulated & waterproof is not suitable for light & general walking and vice versa.

Key features to look for in waterproof clothing are how durable, waterproof, breathable, weight of fabrics, venting systems, freedom of movement, cut, colour etc. You should decide on which is the most important for you.

CCW guarantees all our waterproof clothing from our suppliers for a minimum of one year.  Most are guaranteed for many years & if you purchase Gore-tex, then your security is the Black Diamond guarantee which is a lifetime guarantee.  Gore-tex is sold in many varying weights & is supported with stronger face fabrics (the outside layer) more commonly referred to as a shell jacket.  Gore-tex traditionally supply Pact-Lite, the lightest most easily packed styling, to easy wear softer products and then to the most durable/ hard-wearing for hiking back packing & skiing.  All modern waterproof clothing can be machine washed with no detrimental effect (please read instructions carefully) at this point of washing.  These materials can be re-proofed during the washing cycle to ensure long term effectiveness from rain and wind.
