Breathable Jackets

 It is ultimately important that you read carefully the care instructions and follow the manufacturer's advice on the care label at all times.

When it becomes necessary to clean your jacket our recommendations are that the product is washed in a delicate cycle indicated 30 degrees or 40 degrees with 2 capfulls of Nikwax Tech Wash per item in a 800 spin (always make sure the detergent container is clear of old detergent.  Drip dry or a cool tumble dry which helps to reactivate the DWR on the outside of the jacket.

When the jacket starts to wet out then it is time to proof the jacket.  To do this, simply was jacket in Nikwax Tech Wash as normal then add 2 capfulls of Nikwax DX Direct and put the jacket in the washing machine for a rinse cycle only.  You can then cool tumble dry if recommended by the Manufacturer.  This process revives water repellancy and breathability
