Hunter

In 1856, Mr Henry Lee Norris, an American Entrepreneur landed in Scotland in search of a home for his boot making company. He then acquired a block of buildings in Edinburgh called the Castle Silk Mills which became known as Hunter Boot Ltd.

Hunter's most famous welly, the original green welly was made over 50 years ago in the winter of 1955.  It was the first orthopedic boot that Hunter made and was launched along side the Royal Hunter. These two wellies still prove a popular range today. CCW have a great varierty of colours in The Original Welly including Lava Orange, Violet, Brown and the traditional Black & Green.
